Though she may not have won our favorite female comedian poll, Margaret Cho has many moments of brilliance. And judging by this extended trailer for The Cho Show (premiering Aug. 21 on VH1), her new reality series is full of 'em.

I particularly love the bit about her mom's distaste for tattoos — unless it's tattooed makeup, of course — and the encounter with Gary Busey. Check out the vid and tell me: Are you excited for The Cho Show?

The Paper is one of the new shows in MTV's teenybopper reality show lineup. I initially thought the program would serve as an enticing way to get young peeps enthused about a nonathletic, extracurricular activity — one that promotes civic awareness, community involvement, and writing proficiency. I should have known better. The show mainly focuses on the quirkiness of the paper's editor in chief and how nearly everyone under her can't stand her, constantly undermine her, and want to overthrow her. The value of teamwork? Oh, that's been edited out, natch.

When the truth is told, the sucker wins a whole bunch of moolah— but at what cost? A lady in Colombia admitted to hiring a hit man to kill her husband and won $25,000 for her honesty. What do we think she's going to spend that money on— a pony? The woman wanted her husband dead for Pete's sake! Anyway, here's some dude named Ray. He's a petty thief who resents his mother and likes pornography, but really loves his wife. . .

These losers are gonna put their Axe body spray to da ultimate test and see if they can get lucky in love — overnight quickies don't count, yo! — at, of all places . . . a thong contest. Once a douchebag, always a douchebag.

It's long been known that "bad boys" make good girls go ga-ga. But what's the appeal anyway? Justin Bobby is the quintessential "bad boy" on The Hills. I can't find any redeeming qualities in him, except for the fact that he's a great source of amusement— from a distance. Can boyfriend be any more self-involved and publicly piggish? Yes, he can. And watch out ladies, his type is everywhere.

The Bachelor: Classy Television

Last night's episode of The Bachelor pretty much summed up the many reasons it shouldn't be on the air. Girl-on-girl bashing reached an all-time high. Can't we all just get along? And it only got worse when the show recapped these burptastic broads using their foulest mouthpieces while shaking their ta-tas and digging for nose gold. How is this primetime television?
