The Paper is one of the new shows in MTV's teenybopper reality show lineup. I initially thought the program would serve as an enticing way to get young peeps enthused about a nonathletic, extracurricular activity — one that promotes civic awareness, community involvement, and writing proficiency. I should have known better.

MTV's
Sweet Sixteen really knows how to pick 'em. The birthday girl in this episode (identified by the crown on her head, natch) is given a brand new Lexus for turning 15. There's just one problem: it's not the day, time, and exact second of her birthday and she's not in the mood to accept premature gifts right now.

What is the world coming to these days? This kid turns sixteen and his dad drops over a million bucks to throw the blingest bash in town: red carpet,
Diddy, Kanye West, a new set of wheels, a personal chauffeur--the works. Wait until the end of the clip when the kid opens his mouth to say thank you how great he is.
Will and
Sacha are the kissers that keep on giving! While accepting their tubs of golden popcorn for winning "Best Kiss" at the MTV Movie Awards last night, these two funny men got into a lover's quarrel but quickly decided to kiss and make up. When they took their relationship to the next level (that is, to the floor), they gave
Sarah Silverman a run for her raunchy.

MTV isn't merely music television. It's the home of
reality television, sweet sixteen television, dating someone's mom television, pimp my ride television, and total request television. Although they provide all this quality programming, MTV realized that a few important life lessons were getting lost in the shuffle, hence their socially conscious decision to air this series of instructional commercials.
