Marc Ecko is really establishing himself as the mainstream go-to for Star Wars apparel, after having introduced the
Boba Fett Hoodie and
Storm Trooper Hoodie.
And he's not content to stop there. There's a whole SW shop up — with one of my favorite new pieces being this
Darth Vader T-Shirt with a tattoo-inspired design ($34).

Lessons can be found in every corner of
Star Wars. Your father could be your nemesis. Your love interest could be your sister.

In Utah recently, a
movie theater full of parents and kids expecting to watch Disney's family-appropriate
High School Musical 3 were instead treated to the beginning of the R-rated flick
Sex Drive. Apparently, the opening few minutes of the movie include nudity so parents didn't even have a chance to shield their youngsters. Understandably, folks were horrified:
"I could not carry my little children out before they were exposed to extremely vulgar and sexually explicit material," one parent complained in an e-mail to the Desert News.

Now that you've gotten a good sense of what Star Wars: The Old Republic is all about from my
sneak preview of the game, here's a behind-the-scenes video. I captured it where the art director, some of the producers, and lead designers weigh in on the game and its development;, from inception to final product.

If you can't get enough Lucas info (
you know I can't!), then you should be pretty stoked about their latest release for your small screen. I got an early preview of Star Wars: The Old Republic at LucasArts studios yesterday afternoon, where we were given a sneak peek of the newest Lucas and BioWare title.
The latest game to come from the Star Wars franchise will have you playing online with thousands of others (a la World of Warcraft) and battle against evil...or even be evil and play as a Sith!

It's all about wearing this
R2-D2 Backpack ($65) with a completely straight face as you make your way to your destination. I would personally pair it with a grown-up trench coat just to make passersbys' heads explode just a little more. Oh to be queen of irony!

I have a sneaking suspicion that hoodie-type of girls are also Star Wars type of girls, which is good news for the maker of this
Boba Fett Hoodie (although $98. . .

There are very few things that were made for each other. Peanut butter and jelly, milk and cookies, bananas and chocolate. But now, I think I've found a new pair.

Last week I was one of the lucky few to get a tour of ILM on the Presidio here in San Francisco. This is where all the magic happens folks! Not only does the 82,000 square foot facility house ILM, but it also is home to Lucasarts and Lucasfilm studios.

I don't really remember the
Star Wars installment where queen Amidala was quite this sexy. Beautiful, tough Natalie Portman yes, white go-go boots, no.
Still, I know some people will be into this
Amidala costume.
