Prince Charles is a man after my own heart and is having a birthday season, rather than just one day of celebrations. The heir to the throne turns 60 on Friday and last night he headed to New Wimbledon Theatre for "We Are Most Amused", a comedy gala held in honour of his big day. Charles reportedly
burst out laughing when Jon Culshaw congratulated him on "finally qualifying for the Government's winter fuel allowance", and giggled throughout
performances from Andrew Sachs, Robin Williams, Bill Bailey, Joan Rivers and Rowan Atkinson.

Wow, this was a total shocker! And I'm not talking about the "Prince Charles might be bisexual" gossip. (Yawn.) I'm talking about Stephen Colbert breaking out of character and laughing his ass off!

The Cartier International Polo Tournament attracted a whole range of famous faces to sunny Windsor yesterday, from Prince Charles and
Best of Booker winner Salman Rushdie to newsreader Jennie Bond, who is reportedly
in the running to replace Des O'Connor on
Countdown. The crowd — which did not include polo-loving Jordan, who was told
she wasn't welcome — were treated to tunes from Mark Ronson in the Chinawhite Tent and a moment of unexpected entertainment when
three streakers took to the pitch. Harry Potter's Emma Watson — who made it in to
Forbes' top ten "tween" earners — kept cool in white on the
hottest day of the year so far, while Kelly Brook and Natalie Imbruglia matched the red accents in their outfits to the weather and Dita von Teese kept her lips red hot —
do you love or hate her look?

The Queen's grandson Peter Phillips married the wonderfully-named Autumn Kelly in a ceremony at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle on Saturday. The couple had raised some royal eyebrows earlier in the year when they
sold their story to Hello for a reported £500,000 but it was all smiles at the weekend as Princess Anne's son and his Canadian partner tied the knot. The
Queen and Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Camilla, and the groom's sister Zara Phillips (who got a
kiss from her cousin) were at the ceremony, as were Princess Beatrice (who
channelled SJP with her butterfly fascinator!) and
Princess Eugenie (with her more reserved headgear).

What's nicer than a man in uniform? A Prince in uniform, that's what! Prince William (or Flying Officer William Wales,
as he's known within the RAF) was
awarded his wings by his father Prince Charles at his RAF graduation ceremony in Lincolnshire today.

We gave you
a sneak peek at Kate Middleton and Prince William's skiing holiday last week, and here's a little more – they look like they're still having a blast on the slopes of Klosters. At the end of last week Prince Charles joined the couple for a little time on the piste – skiing rather professionally around the courses. Sadly the little snow we had over the Easter weekend hasn't given me enough to create a ski slope in my back garden, so I'm going to have to settle for looking at these photos and living vicariously through the Royals.
