A friend of mine is in a modern dance group and they're having their recital soon. She invited me to go, and though I'm excited to see her moves, I'm nervous about my outfit. The only other dance recital I've been to was my little cousin's ballet class. I want to look dance-inspired but not foolish. You think you can help? A pretty leotard might be fun to experiment with.

I'll start you off with this Jennifer Ouellette Headband ($75) because it has a sweet ballet aesthetic that will make me fit in with the dancers.

The first dance as husband and wife is an exciting moment for all newlyweds. Even though all eyes are on them, it's their chance to be close, tell secrets, and just have fun together before mingling with all their guests. As you know, the songs to most first dances are either romantic or they hold a special meaning to the couple, but some opt for a fun twist on the first dance, choreography and all. But even if you don't have some elaborate routine, many couples, especially those with two left feet, need a little help in the dance department. While I think the first dance should come from the heart, tell me where you stand on dance lessons before weddings. By Phil Collins. Titled "Sussudio." I don't think anyone ever knew what the hell this song was about, but Duffy's debut proved to be the coolest moment in all of television history anyway. You know the scene in My Best Friend's Wedding when the dude pretending to be with Julia Roberts breaks into song while smack in the middle of a speech, and as Hollywood would have it, the whole table joins in? The peeps below made the scene a little less Hollywood and a little more Broadway. They had a fantastic performance, but I wanna know how everyone in attendance at this wedding (even the father of the groom!) had a voice fit for singing. Uh, Twilight Zone much? This ad starts out as any low-budget pawn shop commercial would: some overly energetic douche stands too close to the camera while begging to buy your junk from you. But William Oliver, the self-titled "Cashman," doesn't settle for run-of-the-mill. He knows how to differentiate himself from the rest — by way of a sleazy jingle and a few scantily-clad backup dancers. Novel, no?

Singing Sushi Shows Off Some Raw Talent

Do kiddies have to be coaxed into eating sushi in Japan? I wouldn't think so, but if the aim of this live-action, singing sushi show is to persuade peeps to push their palates in the raw direction, then this is a gamble. I personally don't want to see the contents of my meal get up and into a chorus line, but the personification of uncooked food is a widespread marketing trend nowadays. (Thanks, eBaum's World!)

And you know what? Granny can dance! The whole sitch seems dubious at first: the turtleneck, the broach, the knitted couch cover, the seizure (?). It's become trendy for the newly married couple to forgo a sappy love song during the wedding reception and bust out a high-energy choreographed routine instead. I thought no one could top the couple who raunched up the dance floor with their "ugh, double-up, ugh, ugh" to Sir Mix-a-Lot, but watch the duo below. They took a cue from the wildly viral Evolution of Dance and did it all. There was even some Oompa Loompa doom-pa-dee-do action up in there. Enjoy!
