THAT is why I don't trust spell check, or myself sometimes.It took me about three times to read that sign before I found the mistake.

Oh I saw the mistake immediately but I am guilty of such goof-ups myself. I was typing paint at work the other day and it came out pint and I spell checked... later I glanced it over and stuck out like a sore thumb.

That has got to be one of the most common mistakes! I think we've all done it at some point. It took me a couple reads to pick it up!

I caught it right off, but then again I look for innuendo in a lot of things. lol Office of Pubic Safety? That's a pretty hairy situation!
That's the thing I hate about spell check. Even if you mean another word, if you spelled something else right, it won't catch it. They meant public, but wrote pubic. Bummer!
